I think it is tough finding hip, fashion for men over 40 here in Cleveland. There just isn't enough men who love to shop for fashion finds like new Boston, New York City or Chicago. The next best thing is checking out GQ, Details and websites. I looked on Pinterest to see what some have pinned and wanted to share it. You don't need to spend a bundle, you just need to get a few pieces to REFRESH and update your wardrobe.
I used to do more shopping for my husband, but with our hectic schedules it gets harder and harder. The thought of shopping in a mall, is for us a hassle; we try avoid it. What happens is, we end up shopping more for him when we are on vacation or out of town. Sounds crazy, but true. My spouse can out-shop me when we are out of town. Yes, he can spend hours perusing men's shops. I am the one sitting on the bench, waiting while he looks. My method is to buy what he needs to fill in his ward robe, add some new things to refresh and replace what is worn.
As men get older their body shape changes just like women. What use to fit when he was 28 doesn't fit the same now that he is older. Fashion designers also change their cuts and designs to adjust to fabrics and manufacturing process. With that in mind, I find its a great reason to add a few new pieces to your wardrobe seasonally. This helps you to also know if your favorite pants from last season still fits. There is nothing worse than pants that just are too tight. It will also give you a chance to get them altered if need be.
